Let it snow!

We got to experience a record! The all-time 24-hour snowfall record for Dallas-Fort Worth was broken on February 12, 2010 when we received 12.5 inches of snow! That's right, here in TEXAS we got snow! We may never see snow like this in our lives again here in DFW. The previous record was 12.1 inches in 1962. We were sent home from work early on Thursday just in time to bundle the kids up to play in the snow for the first time ever. They watched patiently while Gyasi built a snowman (which Amare said "hi" to every morning until it sadly melted today). Work was closed on Friday due to the icy roads. It's all gone now, as if it never happened...but luckly we took pictures!

Amare liked it but wasn't a fan of being cold. Daddy had fun throwing snowballs at the house.

Relaxing in the snow!
