My dad and Patti came over from England for Thanksgiving and we had a lot of fun. We spent the week shopping, eating, and playing with Amare. We cooked a huge 22 pound turkey and make TONS of side dishes for about 10 people. It was a great holiday.
Amare is doing really well. He's starting to coo and smile at you which is so much fun. He can totally hold his head up and has a lot of strength in his neck. He's really strong for a six week old baby. It's wierd looking back at the early photos on this blog and seeing him in the NICU. He is so big and strong now--it's wierd seeing him with all of the tubes and wires.
I know everyone is curious to see who Amare is going to pick for his favorite football team. With Mom liking the Eagles and dad being so passionate about the Dolphins, who will he root for? The true test came on Sunday when the Eagles played the Dolphins...looks like Amare gave a hint! (p.s. the Eagles won!!).

I think he should root for the Packers personally!! But Oh well.. Thank guys for being there for me!! I love you all!! And Thanksgiving dinner was AWESOME!
