Today is Thanksgiving and it's a day where we are supposed to reflect on all of the things we are thankful for. Gyasi and I are thankful for our wonderful friends and family, for our son (and the new sons on the way), for our health, and for each other. It's been a great year and we are really excited about the holiday season--it will be the first time that we can see it through Amare's eyes now that he is old enough to be more aware of everything that is going on. We're going to stay at home this year because I'm too far along to travel safely and comfortably--while we are so sad we're missing our annual holiday trip to New Jersey, we are excited that the Shade crew is flying down from Colorado to spend Christmas at our house. We'll be hosting my dad and Patti, Brian (my brother), Lorraine (his longtime girlfriend), Eric (my brother), Sarah (his longtime girlfriend), and my nephews Colby and Tyson. It's going to be crazy and fun! We will really miss our recent traditions of the Quince Christmas dinner, Christmas night at the Renaud house, and visiting all of our friends and family in the area...but we'll be back soon with even more little boys in tow!
Happy holidays to everyone--we love you all and hope to talk to you soon this holiday season! :)
