Like most families who have both parents working, we have very busy weekends filled with about 6 loads of laundry, grocery shopping, yardwork, and cooking meals for the week. We have been working hard at trying to get some park time in the mornings before the Texas heat takes over and forces us to retreat inside to the air conditioning. For the longest time, we just walked with the kids in strollers on the trail around the perimeter of the park. Now, the boys are all old enough to play on the playground and they LOVE it.
