Pure exhaustion!

We traveled to NJ for our annual summer trip from July 23-Aug. 2, 2011. It was a fun and busy trip. Quick recap:
Saturday, 7/23--flew out at 7am. Flight was mildly disasterous with no car seats and boys who were climbing all over the place. Visited the Renaud family and settled in.
Sunday, 7/24--went to the shore (Lavalette, NJ) with Beth Kohler and her family, visited the Leibowitz family for dinner
Monday, 7/25--met Jessica Smith, Neil & Jess Schoenberg at the Philadelphia Zoo for the day. Chased 5 kids throughout the exhibits in 90+ degree weather. Drove to Jessica's to spend the night and hang out with her family in PA.
Tuesday, 7/26--Left PA and drove to Atlantic City to see Gyasi's grandmother (Nana) and Aunt Sharon. Returned to NJ.
Wednesday, 7/27--Went to Sesame Place with Carrie Klinger and her daughters. Met Geoff & Kate Renaud (and baby Henry!) for dinner in PA.
Thursday, 7/28--Attempted to do the drive through Safari park at Six Flags = HUGE fail. Paid $100 to have Adrian and Julius scream the entire time.
Friday, 7/29--Visited PopPop and drove to Baltimore to spend time with the MD Quinces (Khary, Elaine, Kailyn, & Darian).
Saturday, 7/30--BBQ in Baltimore with the Philly family
Sunday, 7/31--Returned to NJ in time for a BBQ hosted by Dan & Sandy Leibowitz (got to see the Heislers, Feldman's, Schoenberg's)
Monday, 8/1--Family trip to the shore/boardwalk (Seaside Heights, NJ) with Regina and MD Quinces. Dinner at the Renaud house.
Tuesday, 8/2--Packing and leaving for the airport at 3pm. Flight is delayed by 2 hours and we have to find a way to kill 4.5 hours at the Newark airport with 3 boys and no stroller. Arrive home at 12:30am.
It was awesome and totally exhausting at the same time. Every minute was busy but we made the most of our time back east. Thanks to all of our friends and family for making it such a special trip!
Here are some pictures!

Love this pic of Amare Daniel!

It took FOREVER to get the sand out of Adrian's hair. Those curls are made to hold sand and other debris.

Sand castle time! Look at how they have the same expression!

Your trip looked like a blast! I'm so glad the boys got to play with their cousins!! Such a fun time. I love the photo of Amare on the beach in his swim trunks. He looks so grown!
Sand is not your friend with blended hair. The hair is like velcro and it takes months to get sand out of it. haha!
