Amare turns four!

It's really hard to believe that it was FOUR years ago that we were in the hospital, stressed out in labor (where I really did think I was dying...that labor stuff is horrific, I tell ya), and out popped our little redhead. Since that day, Amare has been spunky, dramatic, and full of energy. Anyone that knows Amare can easily see that he is one of a kind--from his dramatic entrance into the world with his NICU stay, to his challenging times in his 2's, to his inquisitive and athletic 3's...he is really a special kid.
We decided that four is a great age to have a party outside of the house. He's at the age where he really does have some of his own friends and we wanted to make it easy on us without cleanup or planning. After four years of watching Sesame Street darn near every day, Amare was very aware of The Little Gym. Those marketing geniuses advertise on PBS Kids all the time and he has been begging to go there for years now. Perfect place for a birthday party!
The party was October 8th from 3:30-5pm--the time was perfect because we avoided naptime and major eating times. The staff at TLG was fantastic. They had free play, organized dances/games, fun music, and more. We had lots of friends attend--family friends (Ava, Grace, and Carson), school friends (Penelope, Tagan, Skyler, Tyler, and Emily), soccer friends (Jackson, Marco), brothers (Julius and Adrian) and Amare's teacher (Ms. Elizabeth).
